What we do?
Because ComparePI LLP have extensive knowledge of the professional indemnity insurance market we know that the cheapest quote isn't always the same as the best quote. Our focus is on offering you a policy both on price and scope of cover, which means providing quotes for policies that match your professional requirements while ensuring the premium is not over the odds.

How do we save you money?
Utilising the medium of the internet ensures savings we make can be passed onto our clients. We have carefully selected a panel of insurers who we think will be the most competitive without compromising the cover, all waiting to quote for you. Our system is designed so that only the minimum of questions are asked in order to offer you quote comparisons, thus saving your time and hopefully your money.

Do we offer a one 2 one service during or after the quote process?
Yes! We understand that by simply providing a faceless online quotation this does not necessarily build a client relationship. Our roots are from providing clients with a one 2 one service and building relationships in assisting with queries and problems they may have regarding their Professional Indemnity needs. In particular, its when a potential claim arises that we can prove our worth and offer a claims service that we can be proud of, taking the burden off what can be the most stressful time for any business.

What's the catch and how does ComparePI.com make money?
Each insurer pays us a commission per policy purchased. We do not charge insurers to offer their quotes on our site either, they only pay us after each policy has been purchased. We have carefully selected a panel of insurers who we think will be the most competitive without compromising the cover offered.

Can I go direct to an insurer and would the prices be the same if I did?
Because of the specialist nature of professional indemnity insurance (PII) most (PII) insurers prefer not to deal on a direct basis with their clients. We do everything we can to ensure that the price you see on our website is the same, or even cheaper than the price obtained if the insurer were approached direct by either us or yourself, obviously this is dependant on the details supplied by you being exactly the same!

Should I only look for the cheapest quote?
Like all things in life, you get what you pay for. Its okay to spend as little as possible on your insurance but please be aware that some companies reduce the level of cover they offer in order to provide cheaper premiums. This could result in you not being adequately  covered!

Why are there differences in prices?
Not all insurers quote competitively for the same type of risk. Some have niche areas where they attempt to gain a section of the market more competitively than others. Some simply are just more expensive than others
